Authentica — gastronomic brochure
Graphic concept, layout and print preparation for the Authentica brochure, dedicated to Franco Pepe’s gastronomic experience.
Telling an experience through a brochure
The Authentica brochure presents Franco Pepe’s gastronomic experience through interior photographs, preparation gestures and Italian and English text. The project includes the graphic concept, layout and print preparation. Views of the inside and outside show how content is distributed across the panels, from images of the room and oven to descriptions of the experience and contact information. Light tones and neutral colour areas support the photographs. The structure connects space, people and the gastronomic story in an editorial object that offers both an overall impression and a series of more detailed reading points.
Design objective
The brochure connects the character of the Authentica space with the story of its gastronomic experience. The brochure brings photographs, text in two languages and contact details into a surface divided into panels. Its reading order supports both the closed object and the expanded inner and outer layouts.
The work
The work covers the graphic concept, layout and print preparation. Photographs show the table, oven, interiors and dough preparation, while Italian and English text presents different aspects of the experience. The composition distributes images, colour areas and content across the inner and outer sides, following the arrangement of the panels and their reading order.
Design rationale
Interior photographs explain the relationship between table and oven, while close details bring attention to gestures and materials. Neutral colour areas connect the images and distinguish passages of text. The bilingual arrangement keeps corresponding content close together, making the relationship between the two versions of the story clear within the folded format.
