Fondazione Campania dei Festival — institutional publication
Editorial design, layout and content organisation to present a cultural institution’s activities, history and vision.
Structuring the story of a cultural institution
The institutional publication for Fondazione Campania dei Festival presents the organisation’s history, activities and vision through text, photography and a coordinated editorial structure. The reading journey connects the institutional opening with the Foundation’s history and the artistic direction of Campania Teatro Festival, distinguishing themes and areas of detail. Large headings, text columns and photographs of the region organise different levels of information. Mauve colour areas and geometric elements connect the pages, while bilingual content extends the reading journey. The work covers editorial design, layout and content organisation, giving a coherent form to a publication with several related institutional subjects.
Design objective
The publication brings history, activities and institutional presentation together through distinct levels of reading and a recognisable hierarchy. The project addresses the combination of longer texts, introductions and photographs, as well as bilingual content. Its editorial organisation distinguishes individual subjects while keeping them part of a shared account of the Foundation and its work.
The work
Editorial design and layout organise the institutional introduction, history and artistic direction. The pages use large headings, text columns and photographs of Naples and the surrounding region. Coloured backgrounds and recurring geometric elements create a shared visual system across the publication’s different sections and the various kinds of content they contain.
Design rationale
The distinction between headings, body text and images makes each element’s role clear. Views of the region provide concrete visual references alongside the institutional story. Recurring colour and geometry connect pages with different densities of content, allowing concise openings to alternate with more detailed sections while retaining a consistent publication identity.
